Dancehall Artiste Samini has showered praises on the ‘Susuka’ crooner Kofi Kinaata for making it big in the music industry. Kofi Kinaata won the ‘Song writer of the year’ at the just ended 17th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2016 (VGMA) held at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC). He also took home ‘Best New Artist of the year’.

Eulogising Kofi Kinaata on Ultimate brunch hosted by Naa Klodey Odonkor, Samini said they have been celebrating his (Kofi Kinaata’s) incredible achievement since his return from the United Kingdom (UK). ‘Well I was out of the country during the VGMAs, but yeah we have been chilling (partying) since I came back to Ghana, we virtually almost live together, he is almost around my house or am at his all the time, he has come quite far and we are proud of him,’ he intimated.

Receiving his award on the night of the VGMAs, a gaily Kofi Kinaata remarked ‘thanks to Samini for teaching me how to fish’. Samini Dagaati reiterated that he has a presidential ambition to rule Ghana and that he is working towards that goal. ‘I have a presidential ambition, later on in life, to be a president in Ghana, am building myself up on that,’ he hinted. He expressed appreciation to his fans for supporting him all these years, encouraging them to buy his latest album. ‘To all my fans thanks for the support all these years, thanks for everything, album is out, breaking news, go online, get yourself a copy, download it everywhere,’ he urged.
