Ekiki mi hitmaker, Wisa Greid has singled out hardwork as one of the factors that accounts for musicians failing to record another hit song after they’ve had one.
According to him, those musicians who returns to obscurity after just one hit is because they just sleep and won’t put in the hardwork; go to the studio to record songs upon songs.
When asked by Delay whether he will also be a one-hit wonder artiste as other acts, he said, “No, I won’t. I hardly sleep, I’m always in the studio recording. It’s because they refused to work hard that caused their career to go down.”
He continued, “Whenever I release new single, the first thing I do is to move from restaurant to restaurant, night clubs to night clubs, ghettos to ghettos and give my CDs out to the Djs to popularize the song first, and then I would later come on radio to launch it officially.”
Wisa shot to fame after he took out his ‘gorgormi-like’ office pin manhood and started ‘twiing’ his female dancer at last year's Citi Fm's Deceba 2 Rememba concert.
Wisa reveals that he is looking forward to win big at this year’s VGMAS.
