When Last Did You See Gospel Musician Mama Esther? This Is How She Looks Now

Mama Esther is one of the few gospel musicians most of us grew up listening to. Her songs were true replica of what is called gospel music. It looks like nothing or little is heard about her these days.

I don’t really remember the last time I heard any media man talking about Mama Esther but she is doing a lot in Kumasi. I was told not long ago that the artiste real name Esther Boakye launched four albums some months back at Old Tafo in Kumasi but much was not heard about that. That tells us that she is still in the music business but the focus on her is not that much.

Zionfelix.com was at the Golden Tulip Hotel On Sunday evening for Emelia Brobbey’s “Save The Orphan” charity musical concert and she happened to be there. From the looks, Mama Esther has not changed a lot. She is still looking young and beautiful as usual. For the benefit of those who have forgotten this powerful female gospel musician, Mama Esther can best be remembered for songs like, Onyami Aye Bi, Waye Lucky, Lazarus, Me Judge Akasa and many others.
