Afful appeared for the Black Stars in his 60th appearance in a crucial first leg encounter with Mozambique in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers last month.


The 29 year old player has been a key member of the national team since his debut in 2008, making him one of the current longest serving members in the team.

The former Asante Kotoko defender make his debut for the Ghana Black Stars during Ghana’s 2008 Africa Cup of Nations campaign, and since then, he has become a regular player due to his commitment and hard work with the team.

Sometimes, I just feel is a dream after representing Ghana in 60 international matches, which is a big achievement, said Ghanaian international, Harrison Afful.

I will continue to play good football for my country and as we all know that 2017 Africa Cup of Nations is around us, so the players are working hard to end the trophy drought and to win it next year in Gabon.
