M.anifest has posted a picture on his various social media platforms which seems to suggest that he is really unperturbed about the lyrics in Sarkodie’s ‘Kanta’ directed at him. The ‘god MC’ rapper together with Kwame Yeboah and the OBY band headlined the 2016 MUSIQUES EN ÉTÉ event in Geneva, Switzerland on July 6. After his performance, M.anifest posted a picture of him and a section of the gathering with the caption, “Me and my friends tonight. Thanks Geneva! It was lit!!! #godMc”.

Obviously, on a normal day, the statement would not have been interpreted to mean a subtle reply to anybody.
However, Sarkodie in ‘Kanta’ claimed that M.anifest does not have international appeal.

“How can I rap to the world Whiles you, you dey rap to your friends”

MUSIQUES EN ÉTÉ is a musical festival that sees over 36 concerts on offer for those who happen to be in Geneva every summer.

Before the event, M.anifest took to his social media platforms to announce his readiness. He however ended his statement with a #KabaFestive.

#KabaFestive follows other statements by Sarkodie in ‘Kanta’. The BET Award-winner emphatically stated that if any rapper will diss him on a song, certainly not one who sews ‘kaba’ with GTP.

“See me I’m far from a rapper
Me no me swag yɛ dapper
Obi bɛ diss-e me a na ɛnyɛ rapper ɔde GTP ntoma pam kaba”
“Swag na wonni oo nnyɛ sɛ ebia you no wan shadda
Dope rapper bɛn na ɛde Woodin pam kaba?
Afro-centric, masa wo sua”

Sarkodie dropped ‘Kanta’ on Sunday as a reply to M.anifest’s ‘god MC’ which some believe was directed at the former following his release of ‘Bossy’.
