Pappy Kojo gets verified on Instagram ahead of Sarkodie and others

Hiphop act, Jason Gaisie known simply as Pappy Kojo, is the latest Ghanaiain celebrity to become verified on picture sharing platform, Instagram.


It seems Instagram is no longer considering the number of followers an account has before verifying the person. With 135k followers, the ‘Awoa’ hitmaker joins celebrities like Yvonne Nelson, John Dumelo, Okyeame Kwame who already have the famous blue mark on their accounts.

According to Instagram, “only those representing well known public figures, celebrities, and global brands” have the verified badge on their accounts as a form of authenticity.
