When all was going wrong in terms of performance for Ghana, Shatta Wale, our last card for the night and the event came to prove to all the reason why he calls himself the King of Dancehall in Ghana. After Pappy Kojo and EL had been whipped on stage by their Nigerian counterparts – Harry Song and Olamide, Shatta came to liberate Ghanaians from their fears and put some smile on their faces, giving them hope again.

The self acclaimed Dancehall King run on stage in his white jacket and shorts to match. He started his performance by taking Ghanaians back to his Bandana days by performing “Bandana from Ghana”. He then went on to drop hit after hits. This kept the entire auditorium charged up with die hard fans singing along every song he drops.

In the middle of his performance, Shatta paused to pass on a peace message to fans cautioning them against violence before, during and after the elections. Afterwards, he continued with his performance. CAR WASH ART-NEWHe performed Zinabu,Kakai,Bandana from Ghana, Mahama paper, and then added a surprise touch to his “Chop kiss”performance by inviting his wife on stage to model around in sexy seductive costume.

Throughout Shatta Wale’s performance, patrons stood on their feet and couldn’t help but ask and scream for more. Surprisingly, he swerved everybody by not performing his craziest, most downloaded, and newest banger with the most controversial song title of the moment – “Wu maame tw3” In all, he put up a flawless and spectacular performance making him the best from Ghana on the night and one of the best acts in all.
