Ghanaian movie actor and parliamentary hopeful, Abraham Kofi Davis known in the showbiz as Oboy Salinko, is set to celebrate the May Day with the inmates at the Kumasi Prisons.
According to Salinko in an exclusive interview with Seacitygh.com, he is carrying out this charity work as part of his social responsibility in helping the less privileged in the society.
“Salinko Help The Needy, my foundation will on May 1st have breakfast with the inmates of the Kumasi Prisons. It pains me when I see a brother or sister suffering.”
He said he is therefore using the opportunity to appeal to food and beverages companies across the country to come to his aid and support him on the move he is embarking.
Salinko Help The Needy Foundation has over the time from its establishment helped many Ghanaians especially the less privileged. He has through the foundation paid the bills of some patients and pregnant women at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.
