Ace music producer, Mark Okraku-Mantey has complained bitterly about the quality of songs, the contents, theme of songs being churned out nowadays. According to Mark, standard of rap has fallen and that even productions of songs have weakened and more.
When Dj Black asked Hammer whether he agrees with Mark Okraku-Mantey’s assertion that there is no quality and mastering of songs produced nowadays, he said,
“Quality and mastering, yes I agree with Mark that the boys are rushing to put songs out but I believe their creativity is amazing. Boys like Fortune Dane, Slimbo are doing well.”
When Hammer was asked by Dj Black on his open house party show why those days he used to sack MCees when they enter his studio for recording sessions, Hammer disclosed that musicians need people who will put them at the right place that’s why he basically did that.
“I did that because I believe in every field there is a talent and you need people to put you at the right place, so when you come to me and you are not good, I just sack you.” He disclosed.
On the advice he would give to musicians and producers, he said, “They need to make their songs available to professionals to fine-tune the songs before they bring them out.” He advised.
