President John Mahama on Sunday joined other Ghanaians to pay homage to the Ashanti King Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. He was accompanied to the event grounds by some state officials as well as his junior brother Ibrahim Mahama.
The President spent close to an hour greeting the more than 65 sub, divisional and paramount chiefs present at the ceremony. He also gave a speech, which mostly centered on his government’s achievement in the region.
Sunday’s event also had in attendance leading personalities drawn from across local and international institutions of repute.
